Rising Beyond Desperation:
A Call To Live with Purpose
In shadows deep and nights so long,
Men often feel they've lost their song.
Quiet desperation fills their days,
Apathy takes over and guides their ways.
But hark, a truth from ancient scrolls,
A whisper loud, to revive their souls.
“For I know the plans I have," says He,
"Plans for hope and a future to see.”
No past can chain what God redeems,
He turns our sorrows into dreams.
As Moses led through desert sand,
With faith in God, take your stand.
"Be strong and courageous," He declares,
"For I am with you, through all despairs.”
Like David faced Goliath's might,
With God, your battles turn to light.
"Fear not," says Christ, "for you are mine,"
In your weakness, my strength will shine.
Paul, once lost, found grace anew,
His past forgiven, his purpose grew.
Arise, O men, from voiceless cries,
Embrace the light that God supplies.
No longer bound by past mistakes,
A life of purpose now awakes.
“For I am with you,” says the Lord,
Your brokenness has been restored.
From apathy and quiet despair,
Step forth in faith, for I am there.
With every step, with every breath,
God's promises, they conquer death.
No past can bind, your hearts set free,
In Christ is found, your true identity.
Now stand tall, men, in strength and grace,
With God's light, let your fears displace.
For God has called you, men, by name,
To rise above, to fan the flame.
Live boldly, love deeply, serve with might,
For in God’s truth, you find your light.
Shadows no more, now you stand,
Impacting lives, across the land.
"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." —Matthew 5:14-16
