The Truth About Jesus the Son
Jesus, Our Redeemer and Friend

Born in a manger, humility's crown,
He walked among sinners, never casting them down.
The Light of the world, the Lamb who was slain,
"Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever," we proclaim.

In Bethlehem's quiet night, the Savior was born,
A King without splendor, the rose amidst the thorns.
He touched the leper, gave sight to the blind,
"Come to me," He calls, "rest in me you will find."

He calmed the stormy waters, walked on the sea,
With a heart full of mercy, He beckons you and me.
"For God so loved the world," He gave His only Son,
In Jesus, our victory, our battles are won.

In the testimony of history, His life is a light,
Documented and witnessed, day into night.
"The Word became flesh," and among us He dwelt,
In His miracles and teachings, His truth we have felt.

On Calvary's hill, His love was displayed,
Through nails and thorns, our debt it was paid.
"It is finished," He cried, the veil torn in two,
His resurrection, we're saved, our lives are made new.

Hearts are transformed and lives are made whole,
His power and presence, restoring the soul.
The empty tomb, the victory proclaimed,
"Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!" He exclaimed.

In the fellowship of believers, His love is supreme,
By the blood of our Savior, we are redeemed.
"Where two or three gather in my name, I am there,"
In community and worship, His power we share.
