In the midst of the night, when shadows loom large,

When burdens weigh heavy, and hope seems far,

Know this, dear soul, you are never alone,

For God's love for you, is more than you've known.

​

He's walked every step, traveled every road that you've tread,

With tears for your sorrow, and prayers for your dread,

In your darkest of hours, He’s been by your side,

With arms wide open, His love as your guide.

 

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,

"Plans to prosper you and not to harm you," Jeremiah 29:11's accord. 

This promise is yours, no matter where you have been,

God’s love is eternal, it covers your sin.

 

You may feel forgotten, cast out, and alone,

But God’s heart aches for you, His love has been shown,

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son" (John 3:16),

"That whosoever believes in Him shall not perish," but have new life begun.

 

No matter your past, no matter your pain,

God’s love for you is eternal, His grace will remain,

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just" (1 John 1:9),

To forgive all our wrongs, in His mercy we trust.

 

He’s not a distant God, aloof and uncaring,

He’s right here, right now, His love ever-sharing,

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18),

Though dark shadows may linger, there's no need to fear it.

 

You are valued, you are loved, you are precious in His sight,

God’s light shines upon you, in the darkest of night,

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28),

Lay your burdens at His feet, and you will be blessed.

 

Seek Him now, in this moment, with all of your heart,

For He’s been waiting for you, with arms wide open, from the very start,

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find" (Matthew 7:7),

Knock and the door will open, In His love you will shine.

​

Find strength in His word, trust in Him as your guide,

For with God on your side, there’s no reason to hide,

"I can do all this through Him who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:13),

To have a relationship with you, God will go to any length.

 

So rise up from the ashes, let hope take its flight,

For you are a child of God, a true reflection of His light,

Believe in His promises, let His love fill your soul,

For with God’s love and grace, you are made whole.

 

So take this step now, reach out for His hand,

God’s love is eternal, His promises will stand,

No matter your journey, no matter your strife,

In God’s loving arms, you can find a new life.
